Question little help with buy and sell section...

What exactly is a "bump"? like i see it in different forums, and i have read about it in the buy/sell, buy i still don't exactly know what it is or what it is used for.

Bumping a thread it posting something to get the topic on top of the first page, because topics with new posts get put on top again. This is obviously useful if you want to sell your stuff so people actually see your topic. Don't overdo it though, give other people a chance too. And, you can get banned for bumping too much.

While technically, any additional post to an existing thread "bumps" it up to the top of the forum list, a "bump" in the buy/sell forums usually is the original poster posting to his/her own thread to move it back to the first page of that forum.

Read the Rules sticky for each forum as "bump" rules change from forum to forum. Ventari's Sell forum only allows the OP to bump every 24 hours (not once a day, but 24 hours apart); other forums have different rules.

But, if you transgress, a mod will close your thread.
